Arborists With ISO Certifications
When you hire an arborist, you’re trusting them with your property, your trees, and the safety of the people around them. At Waratah Professional Tree Care, we hold three internationally recognised ISO certifications — independently audited proof that our quality, environmental, and safety standards meet the highest benchmarks in the industry. We’ve held these certifications since 2016, and they’re renewed and audited on an ongoing basis.
Certification 1
ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management Systems
Certificate Number: 1686-Q-1
Issued by: Global Compliance Certification Pty Ltd
Scope: Provision of Arboriculture Services
Certificate Issue Date: 6 March 2025
Valid Until: 27 March 2027
Original Certification Date: 18 April 2016
ISO 9001 is the world’s most widely recognised quality management standard. Certification means our processes — from the initial quote through to site clean-up — are consistently managed, documented, and improved over time. For our customers in Newcastle and the Hunter, it means you can expect the same high standard of service on every job, every time.

Certification 2
ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental Management Systems
ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental Management Systems
Certificate Number: 1686-E-1
Issued by: Global Compliance Certification Pty Ltd
Scope: Provision of Arboriculture Services
Certificate Issue Date: 6 March 2026
Valid Until: 27 March 2027
Original Certification Date: 18 April 2016
ISO 14001 confirms that we actively manage and minimise our environmental impact. Tree work, when done poorly, can have lasting effects on soil health, surrounding vegetation, and local ecosystems. Our certification means we have documented practices in place for waste management, debris disposal, and environmentally responsible operations — something that matters in a region as ecologically diverse as the Hunter.

Certification 3
ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
Certificate Number: 1686-S-1
Issued by: Global Compliance Certification Pty Ltd
Scope: Provision of Arboriculture Services
Certificate Issue Date: 6 March 2026
Valid Until: 27 March 2027
Original Certification Date: 29 April 2022
ISO 45001 is the international standard for workplace health and safety management. Arboriculture is a high-risk profession — working at height, near powerlines, and with heavy machinery. Our OHS certification means our safety systems are independently verified to protect our team, your property, and anyone else on site. It’s also why we hold full public liability and workers compensation insurance as standard.
Independently Audited. Genuinely Committed.
All three certifications are issued through Citation Certification Pty Ltd and are accredited under JAS-ANZ, the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand. They’re not self-declared standards — they require independent third-party audits to achieve and maintain.
If you’d like to verify any of our certifications, you can do so through the JAS-ANZ register at register.jasanz.org.
